Our Director, Dr Raju Subramaniam is an alumnus of Tirunelveli Medical College, the batch of 1972-1979 receiving his MBBS and esteemed Institute of Child Health Care, Egmore, Chennai, the batch of 1979-1982 earning his DCH & MD. He came straight to his hometown to serve his people and started Krishna Nursing Home with a 12-bed facility in 1982 to a 200-bed facility at present. He is the profound secretary of IAP, CTKK Chapter for 2004 and 2005 also served as a Financial Controller and Organizing committee member of State IAP Conference 1995.
As the founder and editor of Paediatric NewsLetter, a quarterly medical bulletin circulated free to paediatricians of 3 Districts from IAP CTKK Chapter he imparted his knowledge to fellow members. He also served as the Organising Secretary of Tamilnadu State NNF conference 2005. He always had his interests in paediatrics, neonatal care and ventilation and thus he founded ‘The Paediatric Difficult Cases Discussion Forum’ in 1999 to serve the community better with the exchange of knowledge and latest technical healthcare advancements. He is a man of inspiration and filled with compassion to care for the patients.
